The Greenstone Project Process (Part 3 of 3)

March 25, 2022

Welcome to the third and final part of our 3-part blog series covering the entire Greenstone project process. So far we’ve covered the preliminary steps to starting your ICE Panel project, working with our sales team, placing your order, approving the project scope, and shipping and receiving your ICE Panels on site. In the final steps of the process we’ll cover the ICE Panel installation, optional on-site training, and installation assurance.

Installation

Provided in your project package are the all necessary hardware and fasteners to constructed your ICE Panel assembly. Fasteners to tie hardware to connections outside of the ICE Panel assembly can be sourced from Greenstone as an add-on to your project package, or they can be purchased from your local lumber yard. Greenstone supplies an installation manual for every project that includes detailed instructions on how to properly erect the ICE Panel assembly.

On-site Training

When possible, Greenstone can supply an authorized trainer to come to site and provide a hands-on training session for new ICE Panel builders. This is offered on a cost-plus basis. Sometimes builders opt to learn on the fly with technical support available from their Greenstone project team by phone or email. Greenstone representatives will also periodically visit job sites to ensure the ICE Panel assembly process is going smoothly, and to answer any questions.

Installation Assurance

After the ICE Panels have been installed on site, the client is required to provide Greenstone with clear installation pictures so the project manager and engineer can do a complete installation review. Upon satisfactory review and confirmation of completion of any discrepancies that were identified, your project will then receive the engineer’s approval sign off. The engineers approval of your installation is required for local building officials as well as for the Greenstone warranty to be valid. Once you have received your ICE Panel install approval, you are ready to move on to the close in phase of your project.
